Absurdity reigns supreme and “Hostile Environments” utilizes a variety of vintage illustration as source imagery in an ongoing series of digital Collages depicting the multitude of concurrent battles occurring presently from the ecological and political to the personal, as these tribulations get processed within the body, mind and spirit. 

With the ever-evolving digital age affecting everything from methods of communication to how stories and experiences are being documented and shared, “Hostile Environments” aims to serve as a fantastical parallel universe to our own, rife with surreal conflicts, ridiculous situations and a determination to fight the good fight.
